About the trip

Those who want to cover various areas in a limited time can go for the tour package of Vaishno Devi, Shivkhori, and Patnitop. All these locations are close to the Vaishno Devi, and hence one can check different religious locations in a limited time also.

As soon as you arrive at the Jammu airport or railway station, our representative will move you to Katra which is 50 km from Jammu. You will be welcomed at the hotel and have an overnight stay at Katra which is the point of beginning of the pilgrimage. Next morning you will start the pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, which is around 12 km from Katra. To cover this distance, you can also hire a pony or go by foot. To have the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi, who is also known as Trikuta as well as Vaishnavi is a matter of luck and hence every Hindu loved to have it. After Darshan, you will be back to the hotel and stay there overnight.

Next morning after breakfast you will move to Shivkhori which is 70 km from Katra. Here you can visit a cave which is half a kilometer long. Among the followers of Shaivism, it is a pious destination where 4 feet high Shiva Linga is situated. After Darshan, you will return to Katra.


Daywise Itinerary

Day 1 :- Arrive Jammu Airport / Katra Railway stations

Arrive Jammu Airport or Railway station. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and drive to Katra. The distance is about 50 kms, will be covered in about 2 hours, upon arrival in Katra you will be transferred to the hotel. Katra is the starting point for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2 :- Katra | Vaishnodevi | Katra

Early in the morning we proceed further to visit the Holy temple of Vaishno Devi. This temple is situated on the top of the hill. To visit this temple one has to hire pony or travel by foot. From Katra the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage is about 12 kms. After visiting the temple we return back to Katra the same day. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3 :- Katra to Shiv Khori

Early Morning proceed to Shiv Khori. Shivkhori- the Holy Cave abode of Lord Shiva is situated at a distance of 70 Kms from Katra. The cave is a real wonder to be seen and measures nearly half a kilometer in length with a 4 feet high naturally formed Shiv-lingam at the heart of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Have a Darshan of Shiva Cave and back to katra in the Evening. overnight stay at Katra Hotel.

Day 4 :- Patnitop Local Sightseeing

Early Morning proceed to Patnitop a famous Hill Station (95 Kms from Katra). This famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024 meters across which the Jammu – Srinagar Highway passes. Check in a Hotel. In the afternoon proceed to Sanasar. Sanasar is cup shaped meadow surrounded by gigantic conifers, Back to katra in evening.

Day 5 :- Departure to Jammu Airport / Railway Stations

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to jammu railway station/airport.
